Gohan, Goku and Chichi’s son was named after his adoptive
grandfather. Physically, he resembles a young Goku. Spiritually, he is
good and pure of heart because of his protective mother, Gohan begins
life as something as a wimp, but when the Earth is threatened, he
reveals his tremendous potential as a fighter. In one instance, he
“powers up” in order to rescue his father from a desperate
situation. Soon Gohan is forced into training in preparation for the
eminent arrival of the evil Saiyans which were Vegeta and Nappa. As a result, he becomes a
formidable fighter in his own right under the guidance of Piccolo (the
former archenemy of Gohan’s father, Goku.) Gohan first masters
survival skills. He is abandoned for 6 months in the wilderness. Next
comes intense fighting against Piccolo to train Gohan in the art of war.
His mission: “to kill the Sayans and save Earth.” Gohan learns
many lessons under Piccolo. In the end, Gohan comes through in the final
battle as he looks at the full moon, turns into a Giant Monkey and lunges toward Vegeta, causing him to flee. Bulma, Krillin, &
Gohan go to Namek to collect the 7 Dragon Balls to wish for their
friends to be resurrected. They find themselves fighting an evil villain
named Frieza. In the final battle, Goku turns Super Saiyan and defeats Frieza.
When Goku arrives back home on Earth he finds out the world is in more
trouble. Some Androids created by Dr. Gero (one of Goku’s Enemy’s
while a child) want to destroy Earth. The Z Warriors go out and train to
defeat the Androids. While Goku and Gohan train Gohan turns Super Saiyan
in the
Hyperbolic Time Chamber. They also find out they have to defeat Dr.
Gero’s ultimate warrior, Cell. He absorbs Androids 17 & 18 and
destroys Android 16 making Gohan go Super Saiyan 2. Goku had to sacrifice himself,
King Kai, and King Kai’s planet for his son, his friends, and the
planet. Because Cell killed Goku and Cell regenerated himself he got
destroyed for good by Gohan. In the Buu saga, Goku comes back from the
dead for one day for the tournament & finds out they have to destroy
Babidi and Majin Buu. Now the Super Saiyans & the Supreme Kai
have to destroy Buu. After Buu is destroyed, Gohan gets married with
Videl and has a girl named Pan.
